If you’re after a project bag with origin, then Cohana’s stylish Waxed Canvas Tool Carrier has a story to tell.
Beginning its journey at a weaving mill in the Kansai region of Western Japan, raw threads are artfully woven into a sturdy cotton canvas fabric.
Traveling a short distance to an Osaka workshop, the fabric is greeted by artisans who dye and treat the fabric with paraffin giving the resulting carrier durability and a unique texture that will patina pleasantly over time.
The carrier is completed with a handmade silk tassel from Imasato, a specialist in tassels and knots since 1907.
With its practical basket-like shape it’s the perfect accessory for organising small projects. Exterior pockets make for convenient storage of smaller tools and notions.
