In this class we’re inviting aspiring knitters of all ages to join us as we explore the first steps in knitting.
With a hands-on approach to learning, this class is all about getting comfortable with your needles and building confidence working with yarn.
Over 1.5 hours our knowledgeable and gentle teacher will guide you through the foundation skills that knitting requires and offer discussion on selecting needles and yarn for your first projects.
The atmosphere will be relaxed and inclusive of all abilities. We look forward to sharing our world of knitting with you!

Take a deep dive into the world of sock knitting with our resident sock expert, Marita.
Over three classes, Marita will guide you through cuffs, heels and toes, sharing the skills you need to craft your first pair of socks, all in the comfort of our relaxed and light filled studio.
With our skills based approach to teaching, this workshop series will see you master small circumference knitting, short rows, picking up stitches and grafting.
The workshop will include a copy of Mix & Match Socks, knitting needles and complimentary afternoon tea at each session.
We invite all enthusiastic beginners and intermediate knitters to join!
