As a small business it’s not always practical to keep this large inventory in stock so we offer a transparent pre-order policy and guarantee.

So, whether you’re purchasing using the pre-order button on our product listings or via our free quote and invoice service you’ll have peace of mind, from pre-order through to post sales service.

AUSTRALIAN DISPATCH

We endeavour to ship all pre-ordered goods directly from us here in Australia to you. For some very large items this may not be possible, on these occasions you’ll be consulted before the order proceeds.

FREE QUOTES

We can provide a free quote for any Schacht, Louët or Ashford product. Please get in touch if you have a specific setup requirement for your new wheel or loom, or would just like to deal with us directly to process your order.

POLICIES  

GENERAL

  • All policies listed here are to be read in conjunction with our general shop policies and shipping information.

  • Pre-order prices displayed on our website or independently quoted are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of any applicable sales tax or import fees and duties incurred when items enter into Australia.

  • Once payment has been made, either via our website or invoice, the order is deemed to be accepted and refunds, returns or exchanges are not available after this point for a change of mind.

  • At times, market conditions such as high international exchange rates or the cost and risk associated with freight, can make it difficult for us to supply a product. In these instances, we reserve the right to refuse the supply of products if it’s not in our best interest to do so.

FREE QUOTE AND INVOICE SERVICE

  • Quotes can be requested at any time via email. Quotes will be issued in Australian dollars and are valid for two (2) weeks from the date of issue.

  • Upon acceptance of a quote an invoice will be issued via email.

  • Invoices will have a due date of seven (7) days from the date of issue and are required to be paid in full for the order to be deemed accepted and for the order to proceed.

  • Payments are accepted via credit card, PayPal or bank deposit.

  • Once the invoice has been paid the order is deemed to be accepted and refunds, returns or exchanges will not be available after this point for a change of mind.

TURNAROUND AND DELIVERY

  • As a guide, pre-orders will generally take between 6-10 weeks for delivery from the date the order is accepted.

  • Delivery timeframes are an approximation made to the best of our ability given the information provided to us by our manufacturing partners and international freight providers. Orders placed over holiday periods (eg: December to January) may have a longer turnaround time.

  • When possible, we will provide an approximate delivery timeframe on individual product pages.

  • When we accpet your order, we’ll get in touch to confirm the expected delivery timeframe.

  • Goods shipped from us or our manufacturing partners will be sent using a carrier chosen at our or our partners discretion.

  • Pre-ordered goods of low value may be scheduled for delivery with other imports so delays may apply.

REPAIRS, REPLACEMENTS AND REFUNDS

  • In a circumstance where a repair, replacement or refund is required or there is necessity for compensation for damages and loss, your case will be reviewed, and a resolution provided within the framework of consumer rights and guarantees provided under the Australian Consumer Law.

  • Compensation is not available for the loss of packages deemed ‘delivered’ by our shipping carriers. These losses may include but are not limited to packages left when an ‘authority to leave’ is in place or an incorrect delivery address has been provided.

  • Refunds will not be given for reasonable delays caused by manufacturing or international shipping. If we foresee a delay or circumstances change, we’ll notify you at the earliest possible time.

POLICY CHANGES 

  • We reserve the right to update or change our policies as required. These updates or changes will be posted here prior to their implementation. For this reason we encourage you to review this page prior to placing an order.
