Molla Cotton Twine is the result of an exciting collaboration between Finnish crochet designer and author, Molla Mills and Suomen Lanka of Finland.
Molla brings her unique and modern approach to crochet design and pairs it with Suomen Lanka’s most popular line, Liina Cotton Twine, to bring you a signature colour palette that’s completely interchangeable with the Liinna Cotton Twine range.
Available in 12 and 18 ply weights, the twine is 100% cotton with a tight firm twist and a multi-ply construction that makes for a smooth round thread that is hardwearing and durable.
Whether you crochet, macramé, weave or knit, use Molla Cotton Twine for a range of home décor projects, interior textiles and personal accessories.

Molla Cotton Twine is ideal for crochet, macramé, weaving (tapestry and rug) and knitting. Its range of applications is only limited to your imagination. We suggest experimenting with this yarn using your chosen tools and techniques to develop a fabric that best suits your needs. To get you started we can suggest the following hook sizes for crochet projects:
12 Ply, 2–2.5 mm (0 - 2) hook
18 Ply, 2.5–3.5 mm (2 - 4) hook

Suomen Lanka, founded in 1982, is a family run business specializing in the manufacture of warp threads and cotton cords for industrial weaving and handcrafts. Production still takes place in the small rural village of Karvala in Lappajärvi, Finland.
